EMERSON, N.J.—On June 24, during the annual meeting of the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (ANRC), president Andy Torigian announced that the contract for a new building—with enough rooms and facilities to serve the tri-state area—had been signed and that construction would soon begin. The project for a new building began several years ago, and took a great deal of effort to get approval from all state and town bodies.
The building will use the latest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating in sustainable design, water conservation, energy, and atmosphere conservation, as well as materials and resource conservation and indoor environmental quality. This “green” building will also have the latest state-of-the-art amenities of a nursing and rehabilitation center.
The ANRC’s excellence in service to its residents will continue through the building phase. Attesting to this is the center’s maintenance of its 4-star rating.
