About this Honest Armenian Poet
Who tried to learn Armenian and translate
For others to know
Who are the Armenian artful race
I wished always to see her face…
I can see Dian’s Smile Shinning from her Eyes
She is proud … who is she … what she possess
From her grand-grandparents genes
I wish I can meet her one day
With love to the Writer Artsvi and the Diana the Poetess

Lost City of Ani … City of 1001 Churches
There was somewhere
A city called Ani
In the Armenians’ Highland
In Armenians’ ancient history
Near Kars
During 5th Century
There was somewhere
Had a happy nation
Building their homes
Carving Khatchkars
Dancing on grass
With their folklores …
Baking lavash
Somewhere there were
Thousand and one Churches
Named, the city of Ani
How to forget …how to mention
Builders without having iron bars or cements
build fortresses … palaces …By carving rocks
And gluing them with their sweat
The city Ani was cited on a branch of river Arak
And sunny valleys with green trees
Beautiful gardens more than any paradise
Historian forgot that place
Continue praising ‘Hanging Gardens of Babylon’
Ani was not far from there
By plane you can reach in 2 hours
But every place is blocked by traitors
Who are arriving once again by their scimitars
Arriving to cut the tongues of the Ani’s offsprings
Somewhere … there were play gardens… in a city called Ani
Where angles prayed and children rhymed with joyful voice
On the fruits of their trees and their swimming ducks
On the lakes with their red hands…

Diana Der-Hovannessian
Trying to Unite the Souls of Two Tongues
Both … She Passionately Praised
Translation from Soul to Soul
Pursued by the poetess Diana Der-Hovannessian
For the Armenian Poet Misak Medzarents (1886-1908)
Who died younger than John Keats (1795-1821)
From the same disease, Tuberculosis
Which is declining since then
Accept in immune deficient cases.
Not an easy task to translate
From soul to soul…
As every poet has a unique soul
And each language has its own complex phrases
Diana wants to unite the souls
And create a new soul
This what she imagined …
Believed …
Thus Soulfully Achieved
As the humanity …
Must be based on
Unification of souls
Birthing a new breed …
But many soullesses …
Are always there
Born to create hate
Arrive to deparade
I do wonder
Are they able to invade
If love rays dominate in
Kind Loving Cells of any Race …!
