  1. We were pleased to read that Leon and friends have taken a personal interest in the Orphanage at Vanadzor, Armenia. Our family founded the orphanage and we are still actively connected. Just this week they received a cargo container of goods we shipped via the UAF from California.

I wanted to comment regarding the challenges noted in the Article regarding transfer of funds from the States. Our foundation (HUMANITARIAN OUTREACH FOUNDATION)has an accoiunt at the Vanadzor branch of the Ineco bank. We submit a wire transfer once monthly. If Leon’s friends want to use our resources they are welcome to contact us at 858 481 8904.

  2. As a Peace Corps Armenia Volunteer currently serving in a community near Vanadzor and NH resident I am heartened by the work of this group. Let me know if there is some way I can assist you ‘on the ground.’
