What’s in a Name?

Madoyan: Armenian in derivation, identified as a proper name, Mado is the diminutive for Madteos (Matthew). If Turkish in derivation, Mado may be the diminutive for madenji, which is defined as miner; mine owner, mining expert; metallurgist.
