  1. Thank you, and thanks to Hripsime Khusudryan, medalist in weightlifting. Thanks to every member of every team. Thank you.

  2. This is fantastic and worthy of celebration. Armenia now has medaled and is ahead of over 110 countries who have not medaled yet.
Brings joy and happiness to all of us.
Heartfelt congrats to Arsen and Hripsime.

  3. This is a remarkable achievement for Armenia. Yet, I cannot but recall how many Olympic, world, Europe, and USSR champions Armenians have produced during the Soviet times. It is interesting to see how the same nation performs in sports or other fields depending on different state formations.

    • Anahit jan.. You are absolutely right…

It is not mentioned much but we definintely have many ARmenians representing other countries who won and will continue to win medals for their respective countries.. it is just a bit dissapointing that they are represented under a country different than Armenia… but we were, are and will always be proud of EVERY SINGLE Armenian no matter what country they represent.. As long as they don’t forget their roots and where they came from.

Bravo to all those who won and will win in these Olympics…

    • especially when you see that a 73-million strong country like Turkey could so far win only one bronze medal
